Mark and Jonnie Houston have moved swiftly out of Prohibition and straight into the 70s with Good Times at Davey Wayne’s – an homage to their dad and simpler times – debuting in Hollywood tonight. As with many of their other cocktail-focused hot spots like La Descarga and Dirty Laundry, there’s a secret entrance to Davey Wayne’s, only this time you have to find it through a garage sale where you can pick up all sorts of vintage brick-a-brack. Yes, it’s all for sale. Once you enter, there’s a very retro living room with wood-paneled walls, avocado-green couches, those clocks everyone’s parents and grandparents had in their living room, and a small stage – it’s still a club – with the main bar down the hallway.
