These days there’s one Hollywood garage sale that all LA’s creative cats are headed to; and it’s not for the racks. Instead, the savvy and stylish head straight to the back, open the fridge, and step through to uncover Mark and Jonnie Houston’s latest venture, Good Times at Davey Wayne’s. From the brother duo who brought beloved LA clubs La Descarga and No Vacancy, Good Times is a 70s-themed dance hall dedicated to their late father, and brings big time vibes with retro memorabilia from vintage records and funky outdated furniture to an old-school pinball machine.

Get the party started with an order of one of their craft cocktails like the Cisco Kid, mixing jalapeno-infused reposado tequila, fresh raspberries, agave syrup, lemon juice and a splash of absinthe. Then set off for the dance floor, where classic, old-school beats like Marvin Gaye, the Sex Pistols and Kiss keep the room packed and the atmosphere nostalgic. All the boogieing left you starved? Simply make friends with the choice edit of delicious bar bites, like ponzu-glazed pork belly sandwiches and bacon-wrapped hot dogs slathered with avocado lime crema. A well-executed blast from the past – come to let the Good Times roll!
